Letter of Introduction
As a fully licensed psychologist in the State of Michigan, I provide a wide range of psychological services to adults, adolescents, children, couples, and families, with a special interest and training in working with stepfamilies.
As a Board-certified Expert in Traumatic Stress and Fellow with the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress, I have developed an expertise in treating grief reactions and depression along with traumatic stress and anxiety. I am trained in the use of EMDR as a means of treating trauma and anxiety.
Recognizing the close relationship between mental and spiritual health and having both a PhD in Counseling Psychology and a DMin in Formational Counseling, I practice Spiritually-oriented Psychotherapy by integrating the spiritual beliefs, values, and practices of my patients into the therapeutic process.
